What do you like to do for fun on your spare time?


I enjoy travelling any chance I get. When I can’t do that, I love spending time with my family in the city or up at our farm!


Walk us through your career progression. What roles did you have and what did you learn along the way?


Before Kognitive, I spent some time in the telecommunications industry working as a mobile field representative and eventually a national trainer. I had a fairly large territory and was responsible for building relationships with various retailers to help drive the sales and product knowledge of our devices. This was my first “real” job out of university. I loved the flexibility of my work schedule and talking to different people every day. From this particular job, I knew a regular 9-5 career was not for me! I received a phone call from a recruiter one day and learned that Kognitive Marketing was hiring and looking for Field Sales Managers. I was drawn to Kognitive because of the like-minded, driven team that I met with throughout my interviews. I started with Kognitive Marketing in October 2013 as a Field Sales Manager. Throughout my career here I have worn different hats – a field sales manager, a program manager, account manager, head of recruitment, and most recently the Director of Operations. Kognitive Marketing has taught me so many things but I think the two most important are: how to effectively and efficiently problem solve at any given moment and the power of investing in your team.


What are your core strengths?


I believe my core strengths are my project management and execution abilities and my ability to recognize the strengths of others and maximize their contribution to the overall organization


What do you love about your job?


I love that everyday is different and that there are always new and exciting tasks/projects to take on
