What do you like to do for fun on your spare time?

 

I love spending time playing with my kids. I also enjoy hiking and spending time outdoors.

 

Walk us through your career progression. What roles did you have and what did you learn along the way?

 

I started as a Financial Analyst.   I learned to analyze financial reports and consolidate financials for a group of companies throughout my career.  I then became a Controller. I learned to control business risks from the financial perspective. From there, I moved to Vice President of Finance where I learned to look at the bigger picture and long term goals of the business.   

 

What are your core strengths?

 

One of my core strengths is my ability to work well with people with different experiences and backgrounds. My second core strength is my ability to be honest and straight forward with the team about the challenges we have and the potential consequences.  In the meantime, stay calm and positive. 

 

What do you love about your job?

 

I love reaching goals together with the team.  Always looking for better ways to do the work are the words that I live by.
